(Canandaigua, NY) October 12, 2014 - The Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce will host a Chamber University event on Monday November 3, 2014 at their office in Canandaigua, NY. Presenting the topic “Build a Great Web Presence” will be Edward Hanchett, Founder and Executive Vice President of equaTEK Interactive, Inc.
Marking the 25th anniversary of the Internet, the Chamber has invited Mr. Hanchett to present this educational seminar to their members to assist them in creating or enhancing their own businesses web presence. Hanchett stated that today’s business must be ‘web aware’ and recognize the necessity of creating an effective presence on the web. Hanchett will address the challenges of creating a web presence utilizing the online resources that are readily available, yet often misunderstood, by the typical business owner.
Knowing how to construct a website that is both search engine and human friendly is foundational to one’s web presence today. Attendees will learn how search engines capture and index information on a site and how a site can be designed to be ‘search engine friendly’ as well as how to engage and interact with the human visitor.
For more information or to register for the event, contact Elisha Snow, the Chamber’s Manager of Communications and Events.
