Local chamber adds new board members to promote economic growth and collaboration in the East Rochester Community.
October 27, 2015 (East Rochester, NY) – The East Rochester Chamber of Commerce has appointed Sue Mayo-Smith of equaTEK Interactive to its Board of Directors. This appointment comes after equaTEK moved its offices to 201 Main Street in East Rochester.
Sue Mayo-Smith, a Relationship Manager at equaTEK, is passionate about improving the economic climate in the local community and thrives on building mutually beneficial relationships with local enterprises. Sue is excited to jump in and work with local companies to collaborate on community events and partnerships through the Chamber. Sue has already facilitated rebuilding the Chamber’s website with equaTEK. Future plans include equaTEK and the ER Chamber co-sponsoring classes for local businesses to educate on Internet marketing, social media, and search engines.
“East Rochester is going through a time of revitalization including the influx of new businesses, new storefronts, and new roads," Smith shared. "We want to help them revitalize the economy of East Rochester as well.”
