equaTEK dives in to help their new community with website and marketing support.
Since moving their offices to East Rochester, NY, equaTEK Interactive has looked for ways to get involved with the community and support other businesses. The yearly event called “The East Rochester CleanSweep” is meant to clean up the streets and recover from the harsh winter. equaTEK has helped in ways that they know best: donating time to add information to the East Rochester Chamber website and to promote the CleanSweep through announcements on social media.
The East Rochester Chamber is working hard to build a strong following and to support businesses in the local area. In 2015, the Chamber hired equaTEK to build their new website (http://www.erchamber.org) and has found that it has helped grow the chamber in multiple ways. Sue Mayo-Smith from equaTEK is on the East Rochester Chamber Board of Directors and has contributed time, ideas, and website content on multiple occasions. “The East Rochester Village and Town is a small area with strong bonds among families. It is wonderful to be a part of this community and their yearly events such as CleanSweep,” states Mayo-Smith.
